Theologos Village

Theologos, or Tholos. A charming seaside resort with a couleur locale. It lies at a distance of 20 kilometres from the city of Rhodes and is one of the most popular destinations to the western part of the island.
It dates since the Mycenaean and archaic era, as excavations brought to light the temple of Erethymios Apollo, which used to be one of the most revered temples of Ialysia, as well as the Mycenaean settlement and the cemetery.
As you walk in the traditional village’s picturesque cobblestone alleys you will find yourself among beautifully decorated houses with flowers and paintings on some walls. There are quite a few hotels at the seaside resort, as well as restaurants and cafes for all preferences. Theologos attracts every year plenty of tourists and is a paradise for lovers of sea sports, kite surfers and windsurfers.
