Theologos Village

Theologos Village, also known as Tholos, is a seaside resort situated just 20 km from Rhodes Town. It stands out as one of the most favored spots on the western side of the island.

It dates since the Mycenaean and archaic era, as excavations brought to light the temple of Erethymios Apollo, which used to be one of the most revered temples of Ialysia, as well as the Mycenaean settlement and the cemetery.

As you walk in the traditional village’s picturesque cobblestone alleys you will find yourself among beautifully decorated houses with flowers and paintings on some walls.

The area offers numerous hotels, restaurants, and cafes catering to various tastes. Theologos Beach is known as a prime spot in Rhodes for fans of water sports like kite surfing and windsurfing. Nearby, you can visit the Butterflies Valley.
