Soroni Village

Soroni village is a small seaside settlement on the northwestern side of Rhodes island, located 25 km away from the city of Rhodes. It is a peaceful destination for those seeking peace and quiet.

The traditional part of the village is located mainly at the center, around the central church of Agios Loukas. In one of these traditional houses is the Folk House of Soroni, a place worth visiting. The villagers are quite active and maintain many of the village customs through clubs they have formed.

Just 3 kilometers away from Soroni village, you can discover the serene Agios Silas Grove, known by locals as Agios Soulas, where the beautiful monastery that inspired its name awaits your visit. The spring waters found there are considered to be therapeutic. It is a wonderful grove, ideal for families with small children, as it boasts sports facilities and a park for road safety education. Every year, from July 25th to July 30th, one of the biggest county fairs takes place there.
