Ialyssos Village

Ialyssos village is located about 7 km from Rhodes airport and 8 km west of the town of Rhodes. In the past, it used to be a holiday resort for the Rhodian officials; hence, there are several neo-classical architectural villas.

Nowadays has become a popular tourist destination providing a lot of choices. There are numerous bars and restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir stores, and a wide range of places to stay, from cozy holiday homes to amazing luxury hotels.

We recommend starting your day with a stroll through the traditional village. If a local tells you that you are in Trianta, no, you didn’t lose your way; you are still in Ialyssos. Ialyssos and Trianta are the same thing for us.

Enjoy the sunset while eating in a traditional fish taverna along the beach. A night walk on Ferenikis Street or in the region of Ixia is a must.

Don’t miss visiting Filerimos Hill, where the ancient city-state of Ialyssos and the Filerimos medieval monastery are located.
