Kathara Beach

Just outside the center of Faliraki, next to the small harbor, lies Kathara Beach. Located only 13 km from the city of Rhodes, it offers a quieter alternative to the bustling main beach of Faliraki.

The beach is sandy with crystal-clear, shallow waters, making it especially popular with families with children. On the right side, there are a few rocks, but the sea remains shallow and safe for swimming.

Kathara Beach is a fully organized beach, featuring umbrellas, sunbeds, showers, changing rooms, and restrooms. Sunbeds cost €10 each from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., while after that time they are free of charge.

Access is easy by car or motorbike, with free parking available, as well as by bus for those without private transportation.

After your swim, you can savor coffee or a meal at the nearby seaside eateries. Also, from the Faliraki harbor, you have the option to rent a boat to explore nearby beaches or join an organized cruise.
