Description

As part of the 7th Festival European Polyphony, the much-anticipated Musical and Historical Walk is returning this year to Rhodes Old Town on Wednesday, October 1st at 7 PM and Wednesday, October 8th at 6 PM.

Explore the Medieval Town of Rhodes, discovering its hidden history and acoustics with an innovative combination of music and historical narration. The event features Professor Dr. Spyros Syropoulos alongside the vocal octet of the French choir Mikrokosmos.

Through a unique itinerary, narration and melodies highlight respect for diversity and the richness of human expression, offering an experience of genuine communication and coexistence.

On October 1, the Musical and Historical Walk will start from St. George’s Bastion, featuring the Chœur Mikrokosmos – Octet alongside Dr. Spyros Syropoulos. Following this, on October 8, the event will move to Argyrokastro Square, where the Edvard Grieg Girls’ Choir, under the direction of Artistic Director Sapfo Stavridou, will perform alongside the Chœur Mikrokosmos – Octet and Dr. Spyros Syropoulos.

The events will be held in English and Greek.
