Mikros Gialos Beach

Mikros Gialos Beach in Lindos, Rhodes, is a small, picturesque sandy beach that feels like a postcard. Located just to the left of the renowned Saint Paul’s Bay, it lies about 50 km from Rhodes Town.

Set beneath the Acropolis and surrounded by rocky landscapes, the beach offers a peaceful escape with crystal-clear waters and a fine sandy shoreline. The seabed is a mix of sand and small to medium-sized rocks, making it an interesting spot for snorkelling. The water is relatively shallow and gradually deepens, although families with young children should take care around the rocks along the shore and in the sea.

Mikros Gialos Beach is a natural, unorganised beach. There is no lifeguard or toilet facilities, although changing rooms are available. We recommend bringing your own beach essentials for a comfortable visit. Due to its small size, free space is limited especially during the busy summer months, so it’s advisable to arrive early.

How to Get There

The beach is just a five-minute walk from the centre of Lindos Village and can also be reached by car, with paid parking available above the beach.
