Dimilia Village

The picturesque village of Dimilia is located in the hinterland, about 36km away from the city of Rhodes, amid lush green meadows. The superb forest and the natural fountainheads offer to the visitor a unique experience of tranquility and relaxation, away from the busy touristy hubbub. In its narrow streets you will have the chance to savour your every moment, walking past many traditional houses with yards full of a pandemonium of colourful flowers. Visit the museum housing the old oil mill, enjoy your coffee under the plane trees and quench your thirst at the famous ‘Koskinisti’ water spring. At a nearby distance on the way to Prophetes Elias, amid a magical landscape, you will be fascinated by the sight of Agios Nikolaos at Fountoukli, a Medieval chapel dating back to 1497AD with wonderful, well-preserved frescoes and a fount.
