Feast of Saint John the Theologian

On September 25 at 9 PM, the feast of Saint John the Theologian, known as Ai Giannis by the locals, takes place in the lovely village of Theologos.

This celebration, organized by the Cultural Association of Theologos “Modestos”, is a treasured tradition that brings the community together to pay tribute to their patron saint. Experience an evening filled with traditional food, lively dances, and live music by Stefanos Tharrenos.

The chapel stands beside the remnants of an older church, situated in the area where the village of Theologos was originally established before its eventual relocation. This earlier church was also dedicated to St. John the Theologian, reflecting the deep-rooted connection between the village and its revered patron.
