Melekouni Festival Koskinou

The Cultural Association of Koskinou “Kallithea” warmly invites you to the annual Melekouni Festival, the sweetest celebration of the summer, taking place on Saturday, August 9, at 8:00 P.M. in Koskinou Square.

At the festival, local women of Koskinou Village will demonstrate the traditional preparation of Melekouni, offering a unique insight into the rich cultural heritage of Rhodes Island. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community and appreciate the time-honored practices that define our island’s identity.

The festivities will be further enhanced by the Koskinou Women’s Cultural Association’s dance group, who will captivate the audience with their traditional performances. As the night unfolds, expect an abundance of music and dance, creating a lively and joyous atmosphere for all attendees.

The Melekouni Festival Koskinou is co-organized by the Cultural Association of Koskinou “Kallithea”, the Municipality of Rhodes, the Region of South Aegean, and DOPAR.
