Paradisi Village

Paradisi Village sits on the island’s northwest side, adjacent to the Diagoras International Airport, and is 15 kilometers away from Rhodes Town. It seamlessly blends modernity with traditional charm.

The village, originally named Villanova by Grand Master Helion de Villeneuve during the Middle Ages when he constructed his castle in the region, was later renamed Paradisi in 1947. This change is associated with the Paradise Gardens zone where the castle was situated.

Paradisi Village is renowned for its cultivation of strawberries, leading to the annual Strawberry Festival that usually takes place on the second weekend in May. The village offers numerous accommodations, restaurants, and coffee shops.

Visitors can witness one of the island’s most stunning sunsets from the nearby Paradisi Beach.
