Description

The Festival European Polyphony celebrates its 6th creative year in Rhodes. Dedicated to classical music, photography, and cinema, the 6th edition of the Festival European Polyphony celebrates from October 1st to 13th 2024, in Rhodes, the cultural bridge between Paris-Rhodes-Tallinn that has been built over the years.

The Photography Exhibition “Following the Sound and Silence” reflects fragments of the musical path of Arvo Pärt, who has influenced how the nature of music is understood in the modern world. In some parts of this journey, his companions, the conductor Tõnu Kaljuste and the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir have shared with him a common creative space full of valuable moments. The photographers have followed the footprints of the musicians of this unique world. Photographers: Anneli Ivaste, Birgit Püve

The photography exhibition will be available for viewing from October 1st to October 13th. On Sunday, October 13th, the exhibition will be accessible only in the morning.
