The 17th Rhodes Medieval Rose Festival is set to enchant visitors on October 5th and 6th, taking place in the enchanting Medieval Town of Rhodes island, specifically in the picturesque area of the Inner Moat beneath the D’Amboise bridge. This vibrant event promises a journey back in time, featuring a variety of experiential workshops and activities that immerse attendees in the rich history of the medieval era.

On October 6th, the festivities will be further enhanced by captivating music and performances held at the Palace’s Rampart, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and celebration.

Throughout both days, attendees will have the unique opportunity to witness the lively Stage Parades as they traverse the main streets and squares of the Medieval Town. These parades will be a feast for the senses, showcasing an array of performances that include music, dance, and thrilling sword fights, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy. With each stop along the way, the parades will bring moments of excitement and wonder, making this festival a memorable experience for all who attend. The Stage Parade is set to begin at 6:00 PM at Platanakia, and the closing ceremony will follow at the Palace Bastion at 7:30 PM.

The festival is open to public and attracts diverse audiences from all over the world.

Rhodes Medieval Rose Festival is co-organized by the cultural organisation “Medieval Rose”, the Region of South Aegean, Municipality of Rhodes, DOPAR and the Ephorate of Antiquities of the Dodecanese.
