Seven Springs, also known as Epta Piges, can be found 30 kilometers away from Rhodes town, located between Kolymbia and Archipoli. It is recognized as one of the most enchanting locations on the island.
Seven natural springs gush water all year round, creating the Loutanis River and a dreamlike setting. Landscape of incomparable natural beauty with century-old trees, little wooden bridges, ducks, peacocks and a tunnel that will lead you to a little paradise.
Entering the narrow dark tunnel and following the flow of water or crossing the adjacent path for those who are claustrophobic, you will come out to a beautiful lake in the pines, where you can swim. The lake was created by the dam built by the Italians in the 1920’s in order to supply water to the neighboring village of Kolymbia.
At the entrance to the springs, you will discover a little restaurant and a souvenir shop, perfect for picking up a memento of your visit.
Ample parking is provided for those arriving by car, and there are convenient bus routes that make access easy for everyone. Best of all, the entrance to this beautiful natural site is completely free.
The valley of the Seven Springs hosts rare species of flora and fauna and is one of the most popular destinations in Rhodes island for nature lovers.
