Wine Festival Embonas

Don’t miss the 66th Wine Festival Embonas, taking place this year on August 22 and 23 at 9:00 PM. A beloved tradition that has been honored for generations in the beautiful village of Embonas.

This historic event signifies the start of the harvest season, deeply connected to the rich winemaking heritage of Embonas village, renowned as the premier wine-producing area on Rhodes island. The kiosks at the festival are filled with local treats, such as mustalevria, yogurt with grape spoon sweet, and lovingly made goodies by the women of the village. And naturally, there is fine wine available for free for everyone.

Experience the joy of traditional music and dance performances that will fill the air, creating a festive spirit that encourages everyone to come together and celebrate.

The Wine Festival Embonas is organized by the Cultural Association of Embonas “Attavyros”, with the valuable support of the Region of South Aegean, DOPAR and the Federation of Cultural Associations of Rhodes.
