Even though it is a breath away from the tourist hotspots, this village preserves its customs and traditions. It’s a great destination for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts.
Wander through its charming cobblestone alleys, where you can admire the neoclassical architecture and the traditional whitewashed houses. Visit the central church of the village dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, featuring remarkable mosaic floors.
To the northwest, on the top of Kammyrioti hill, you can discover the Kammyri Monastery, dedicated to Archangelos Michael. Haraki beach, known for its delightful fish taverns and beach bars, is just a short distance from the village.
Massari village is famous for its outstanding oranges, and each year, typically at the end of March, the village comes alive with the Massari Orange Festival, celebrating the end of the harvest period.
