Gennadi Village

Gennadi is one of the largest villages in southern Rhodes. It is located 64 kilometers from the city of Rhodes and is known for its endless beaches and vibrant life in its picturesque alleys.

From the main road leading to Gennadi village you will see a modern tourist resort. But walking through the alleys of the village you will also discover a traditional settlement, with the main characteristic of the houses being the high walls with the hidden courtyards.

On your wanderings in the village it is worth seeing the church of Saint Anastasia of Rome with unique frescoes from the 1800s, the church of Saint John the Theologian, the police station of Italian architecture, and the Olive press.

If you are a nature lover, don’t miss the opportunity to explore the gorge of Mala with its small waterfalls, the lake of Skolonitis, and the artificial dam of Gennadi.
