Walnut Festival Dimilia

The 17th Walnut Festival Dimilia, the sweetest culinary event of the autumn, will take place on Sunday, October 5, at 1:30 PM in the Elementary School of Dimilia.

As we say goodbye to summer and welcome the tastes of autumn, you will be able to experience local walnut delicacies, indulging in the sweet and honeyed treats that this season brings. With the warm fragrances of cinnamon and cloves surrounding you, the picturesque village of Dimilia looks forward to welcoming you with open arms.

The festivities will include a vibrant folk dance program beginning at 5:30 PM, featuring the talented traditional orchestra of Nektarios Konstantakis, with Manolis Mavroudis on violin and Dimitris Kougras lending his voice to the celebration.

The Walnut Festival Dimilia is co-organized by the Cultural Association of Dimilia – Eleoussa “To Fountoukli”, the Athletic Association “Atromitos” of Dimilia, the volunteer group EODE, and the Local Community of Dimilia, with the valuable support of the Region of South Aegean, the Municipality of Rhodes, and the Federation of Cultural Associations of Rhodes.
