Afandou Beach

Afandou Beach: On the eastern side of the island, 19 km from Rhodes Town and just 2 km from the beautiful village of the same name, Afandou Beach is one of the most popular beaches among the locals. Huge beach, small pebbles on the shore but with crystal clear calm waters, it is the ideal beach for moments of relaxation. Its waters are magical. During the hot summer months you will see locals lighting bonfires on the beach, spending the night there with their friends and families.

The beach is relatively organized and due to its size offers privacy if you wish. There are a few scattered tavernas and canteens but we would suggest you have water with you. Access is easy by car with plenty of parking spaces. Finally, if you have small children, supervision is necessary because the water gets deep quickly.
