Kokkini Ammos Beach (Red Sand Beach) in Rhodes is a hidden paradise bay on the east coast of the island, about 30 km from the city of Rhodes and near the village of Archangelos.

How to Get There

For a more comfortable and enjoyable experience, we recommend visiting the beach by boat. You can rent a boat or join a cruise tour, offering not only easier access but also beautiful coastal views along the way.

Reaching Red Sand Beach by foot its difficult. You can drive part of the way via a dirt road, but the final stretch requires hiking down a steep, rocky path. Sturdy shoes, hat, sunscreen and plenty of water are essential. This route is not recommended for everyone, especially during the hottest months.
