Paradisi Beach

Paradisi Beach lies on Rhodes’ northwest coast, about 17 km from Rhodes Town, beside Diagoras Airport and just 2 km from Paradisi village. It offers a quieter seaside escape with a unique attraction: planes flying directly overhead.

Less crowded than many of Rhodes’ best-known beaches, Paradeisi Beach appeals to visitors looking for peace, privacy and something different. The aircraft overhead create an unusual experience, particularly for aviation enthusiasts and photographers.

The shore is covered with medium-sized pebbles, while the seabed is also pebbly and becomes deep fairly quickly. However, depending on the weather and sea currents, sandy patches can appear and the water may be shallower. Waves are common, so the beach is not the best choice for families with very young children.

Paradisi Beach is not organized, but there are basic facilities including showers, changing rooms, and a few trees providing natural shade. A small number of sunbeds and umbrellas belong to the nearby hotel. There is no shop available near the beach, so make sure to bring your own water and snacks.

The beach is easy to reach by car, with ample parking. For the best experience, stay until sunset, when the northwest-facing coast offers a memorable view across the sea.
