Savvas Taverna

Founded in 1948 by Savvas Tsoukalas, Savvas Taverna in Embonas started as a small local café serving coffee, souma, and snacks to locals. In 1969, it moved to the central square, where it remains today.

Our family has been active in local dining and tourism for over 70 years. Hospitality, love, and passion have passed through four generations, from great-grandfather Savvas, to grandfather Lefteris, and then to his son Savvas, continuing the family tradition to this day.
