Traganou Beach

Traganou beach or Traounou beach as the locals say it -a Blue Flag awarded beach- is located 16 km from Rhodes town on the east coast of the island between Afandou and Faliraki.
Its crystal-clear calm waters, along with the fine pebbles on the shore and the surrounding caves, create an enchanting setting. However, if you have small children, supervision is essential since the water gets deep quickly.
Its magnificent caves with colorful seabed are a popular destination for diving enthusiasts.
The beach is partially organized. Nearby there is a small tavern where you can enjoy a Greek meze or a coffee, and for those seeking more fun, watersports are available.
