Originally restored in 1960 through the generous support of the America Association of Koskinou “Kleovoulos”, this small Orthodox church reflects the understated beauty of traditional Greek island architecture.
Its exterior is complemented by four terracotta-colored columns, while the modest bell tower blends seamlessly into the building. A spacious courtyard shaded by trees provides a quiet place to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
Inside, visitors will find a simple yet elegant interior featuring two large icons of Saint Marina, a built-in iconostasis adorned with icons of Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary, and a silver-gilt icon of Saint Marina displayed in a beautifully embroidered shrine.
The chapel celebrates the feast day of Agia Marina on July 17. On the evening of July 16, the courtyard comes alive with a traditional Greek festival, where locals and visitors gather to enjoy folk music, dancing, authentic local food, and a warm community atmosphere.
